This was my Mother-in-law's wedding dress. She was the very first woman PhD graduate in Math at Georgia Tech and was an elegant and beautiful woman throughout her life. She married in 1953, and had the dress professionally preserved. I'm not certain of the dimensions, but she was 5'7" and trim. According to the newspaper article about the wedding, " The bride wore a gown of ivory satin and rosepoint lace. Her veil of imported illusion fell from a coronet of net and seed pearls." It is an ivory colored fabric and has been sealed away from sun in a climate controlled closet for the last 66 years. We have not unsealed the storage packing, but believe the veil is included with the dress.
