Very rare and elegant set! Richard Ginori Monteith Bowl with 2 matching Amphorae. Bought in Italy in the early 1980s. A Monteith bowl is traditionally used for chilling wine glasses. The notched rim holds the glasses in place by the stem so that they rest gently in the ice.
